Dear Franklin High School Teachers, Staff, Specialists, and Student Leaders,
Franklin HS PTSA has set aside funds to support the basic needs and academic enrichment of Franklin students. We encourage all student clubs, specialists (i.e. nurses, counselors, program coordinators, coaches, club advisors), and classroom teachers to request funds to support Franklin students.
PTSA Funding and Reimbursement Process:
If you have a proposal/project, please submit this Request for Funding Form outlining the project, its benefits, and the requested amount. A printable version of this form is available, email to request it.
PTSA Grants are capped at $2000 for classroom, staff and specialist requests.
Student club grants are capped at $500.
The PTSA Board meets monthly and reviews funding requests at that time. We will let you know if your proposal was approved soon after.
All requests for reimbursement must be submitted through a completed Reimbursement Request Form, and include copies of itemized receipts.
If you fill out the Request for Funding or Reimbursement Request on paper, please take a photo or scan it and email to franklin.hs.ptsa.seattle@gmail.com, Attn: PTSA Treasurer
The PTSA Board will use the following values as criteria granting funding requests:
Fostering and supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion at Franklin
Building community and a sense of belonging
Creating opportunities for new experiences
Supporting health (physical, emotional, mental) and safety
Providing for basic needs of students (food, clothing,etc)
